Whaea Mel

Kia ora! 

My Name is Whaea Melanie.  I am very excited about teaching and assisting children with the next step in their learning journey.

I have been teaching for over 20 years and have taught in Wellington, London and of course here at the wonderful Western Heights Primary School for the past 16 years.  

Currently, I am the team leader for the seniors and Assistant Principal, supporting Hauora needs for tamariki & Whanau.

I love travel, going to the beach and Lindt chocolate!

There are many great things about our school, but the children, staff and families here are what makes it really special.
